A New Day in America? Maybe.

On April 10, 2008, I thought I had ended this blog for good. I deleted months-worth of prior posts and political rantings and drafted one final paragraph; my parting thoughts from that day are still posted below. Well, my notions of ending this blog may have been premature and I'm terribly sorry if this all seems like so much melodrama; that is not my intent. It's just that, in light of recent events, there is simply too much to talk and carry-on about.

In the end, the degree to which we are enlightened as individuals is exactly equal to the degree to which we are willing to accept personal responsibility for the reality that each of us has created.
